How to recognize well-insulated windows?
Speaking of energy efficient windows, the U-value of the window is first mentioned. The U-value is the coefficient of thermal conductivity. It is used to calculate the thermal insulation of a window and shows the amount of energy that flows through an area of 1 m² in one hour.
The lower this value, the better the thermal insulation.
Compared to conventional, simply glazed windows, with an average U-value of 5.8 W / m²K, our windows feature top values of up to 0.85 W / m²K.
Professional installation of windows is of special importance. Only if the windows are absolutely sealed can moisture damage or mould spread be avoided.
